Hospital Ward

Hospitals exist only in the big cities and are only accessible to the richest people.

Our hospital ward in the village of Mvan-Zamba provides basic medical care for the poor.

It includes an ambulance room, a small laboratory, a pharmacy and sanitary facilities. 2 hospital rooms enable the care of even the most seriously ill and bedridden patients. Complicated cases are transferred to the St. Thomas Hospital Yaoundé.

There are 2 nurses, 2 laboratory assistants, a pharmacist and 2 cleaning staff working in the hospital ward. Once a week there is a doctor's visit intended for cases of serious illness.
